Photo Library
The library jointly run by Fotostiftung Schweiz and Fotomuseum Winterthur is publicly accessible. It covers the history of photography, documents contemporary work, enables research into key topics and includes literature on photographic theory. With over 30,000 publications and around 30 current magazines, it is the most important specialised public library on the subject of photography in Switzerland. Work areas are available for specialists, students and visitors to the Centre for Photography. The holdings can only be used inside the library (this is a reference library) but it is possible to explore them in the online catalogue (OPAC).
