Fotostiftung Schweiz
The support association Friends of Fotostiftung Schweiz, founded in 1982, is building up its own collection in close cooperation with Fotostiftung Schweiz, so as to complement and expand the latter’s holdings. Thanks to the association’s purchases, a high-calibre collection of classics from the history of international photography has been created. Since 2008, Friends of Fotostiftung Schweiz has been mainly acquiring groups of works by photographers who enrich the contemporary Swiss photography scene with distinctive independent accents. Large parts of the Friends of Fotostiftung Schweiz collection can be viewed online.
