The publications on display by Araki, Seiichi Furuya, Hashiguchi ‘George’ Jōji, Ihara Miyoko and Yoshiyuki Kōhei all highlight couple relationships in different ways and are each characterised by their own artistic and conceptual approaches: from intimate photographic diaries to sociological documentation and a disturbingly voyeuristic gaze. The books are accompanied by seven original prints by Hashiguchi Jōji from the collection of the Friends of Fotostiftung Schweiz.
