Art Education
With a diverse range of activities, Fotostiftung Schweiz and Fotomuseum Winterthur are committed to visual education and the communication of topics in photography. Guided tours, talks, and workshops within exhibitions offer the opportunity to visually, thematically, and practically discover photographic works.
Children, teenagers, and adults engage in dialogue to explore the impact of images, playfully discover their own creativity, and deepen their knowledge of the history of photography.
The photo lab workshops offer participants, visitors, school classes, and private groups the opportunity to learn experimental analogue photographic techniques. They gain insight into procedures such as the cyanotype printing process or photography with a camera obscura. In the workshop Bilder lesen students examine works from the Fotostiftung Schweiz collection before getting hands-on experience with a camera themselves.
